Wow! You guys have really worked hard, and I have to say those are some great looking veggies, and the apples...I wish I could reach through my screen and grab one!
I imagine there's not much time left up where you're at to get the harvesting done. When do you usually get your first hard freeze and/or snow?

That was out at the Quist farm. It is the closest farm to us, maybe twelve miles by road, just a few as the crow flies. It has turned out to be better hay than I first thought it was, and at eight dollars a heavy bale, it can't be beat. Should have gotten more.

Denise, we usually get our first frost about now, late September. First snow in early October, although it doesn't always stay around till mid/late October. Trying to finish up the garden this weekend. Ground might be a bit frozen by next weekend.
